2002 Te Ji Grade DeHong Ripe Pu-erh, 1 oz.

2002 fermented "Te Ji" grade ripe pu-erh tea from Mangshi Dehong Tea Factory! "Te Ji" (特级) refers to the leaf size or grade. "Te Ji" is the leaf size just smaller than "Gong Ting" (宫廷) and just larger than 1st grade (一级). This tea brews up a super clear tea liquor with deep red-wine hues. The flavor is incredibly smooth and sweet. This is a perfect tea for those who love a straight-forward Ripe Pu-erh without any off flavors!
Recommended brewing method: Use 5 or 6 grams per 100ml of water. Use 100C water and wash once or twice for just 5 seconds each time. On the 3rd and 4th steeping keep the infusion times short (less than 10 seconds), with the 5th and 6th steepings increase to 15s-20s. As the tea loses it's intensity with later steepings increase the infusion times as needed!
